The fantasy of dreams

A dream is a fantasy that can't come true because if it does it would no longer be a dream.

It is pondering like these that plague my days. Well sort of.

I'm using the above example to start a train of thought a flow of imaginings, a tide of pondering.

As I mentioned in my post yesterday, my goasl is to write something every day even if it is only a brief musing. The idea is to practice. Something that I tend to have difficulty with is getting started. I suppose this is not due to a lack of ideas. My head tends to be over full of ideas that need to come out one way or another.

Lately I noticed that by writing out some of my ideas, I am able to sleep more soundly. Perhaps writing is in no way related to my sleep patterns, but then again, it might be a way for me to escape the insomnia that I've been experiencing for some time now.

As I am writing this, I'm being slightly distracted by an audio book that is playing for Song and Youme's enjoyment: "The Giver," by Lois Lowry. An amazing journey in to the human condition. What could be, what was, and what may be.
