Ponderings

Is it pure writing if I am not sure what to write.

I've been unable to meet my goal the last few days for writing on my blog on a daily basis. I suppose my primary excuse has been due to a lack of things to write about, but if I really look deep inside myself, I know the real reason has been that I have not prioritize writing in to my schedule.

I also have difficulty with keeping the really important thoughts in my head long enough to write them down. Perhaps this is another advantage to having access to a pen and paper. Ok, time to think of an equivalent. As I'm thinking about ways to write more, I've decided to constantly keep a text editor open during the work day and try to catch thoughts as they occur. It might be easier to edit my ponderings in to a blog post at the end of the day if I have content to work with rather than having to try to find time to generate that content.

Random note, why did the American people decide to name the lawmaking body after a group of baboons or a congress?
